What a busy weekend Walker Broad have had!

Friday we were at the Auckland Arms strutting our stuff to the lovely audience the venue always provides. We were both extremely tired after a busy week following a weekend in France, or in Andy's case nearly a week in France. We were trying out a new set list too and found that really it was a bit too mellow, this sort of reflected our energy levels being low but also meant we had to rethink the set list before the next gig.

Which was at the Thorngate Halls in Gosport. That was a lovely gig, great audience and some lovely people came out to see us especially which is always wonderful. The revised set list worked much better. The most pleasing thing about the last two gigs has been that Small Steps, the very first song that I shared with Andy when we started working together, has been so well recieved. The lyrics are funny and it is meant to be a light hearted, fun song and seems to be just that. It has gone down really well on both occasions!
