Disabled voice and resulting frustrations! Views: 1969

Well, the voice is slightly improved but still vastly reduced in it's vocal range.  We were going to take advantage of this more quiet phase to do some sound and video recording of the Quiet Joys of Brotherhood and also the new one 'Upon Cliff Hill' but that doesn't look like it is going to be an option with my voice still sounding like I do Dallas.Yell So frustrating, I can't even shout at the kids, how am I supposed to be able to express myself freely! Wink

So the new song is finished and I sang it (well croaked it) to Andy the other day and he didn't roll about laughing or vomit, so I think it may have passed muster! It is an out and out folk song with a story and everything. Called 'Upon Cliff Hill' as mentioned above, I had no idea if any such place existed in the UK but there are several. So I am going to investigate to see if any of these places have a history akin to that which is in the song. Bit cryptic that, eh? Have to come and listen to the song then you'll find out more!
