Well, not content with warbling and finger waggling I have now worked out a bass part for the latest song we are working on 'If Can Do.' The person to blame for this variation in standard practice is Christie Shaw  http://shawsax.yolasite.com/ from whom I purchased a bass guitar recently. I've always wanted to play guitar but have really wimpy fingers that run to rags within minutes of playing a standard guitar. It's always been my wish to get a bass guitar and see if that made any difference to my stamina, finger wise. It does! My fingers still feel like they have been run through the ringer but there is no blood and the strings don't make my teeth grate in the same way the higher ones on a regular guitar do. Flippin' heavy beasts though bass guitars, I think I may end up walking like a hunchback if I carry on. Eventually I have a dream that my fingers will toughen up enough to let me play the guitar and then I can fight Andy for space in the blues solos and beat him into submission. Well, we must all have aspirations mustn't we!
