We had an outing last night as support to the Jon Amor Blues Group. Overall a really enjoyable evening with some lovely comments from some audience members and a future booking which is always very gratifying.

It reminded me though of how difficult support spots can be, especially when, as in this case, the audience have paid to see the main band and not you! Sometimes they sit patiently through your set, sometimes they thoroughly enjoy it but always there is the feeling that you are being politely, hopefully, tolerated until the real entertainment begins.

Neverthless we had fun, the band were great and it appeared that everyone went home happy, so..... result!
