Last gig at the Golden Lion for now and the finished article. Views: 2685

This has been a week of endings for WB. Many hours were spent last week in the studio with the most marvellous sound engineer chap Geoff Webb, whose ears hear things no normal mortal could ever hear. The songs have now been mastered and sent off to the CD company for transforming into saleable packets, ready to fly off the shelf at the CD launch. Tickets are selling well for this very prestigious event on the 21st of November
I know I have mentioned it before but we are terribly excited, almost uncontrollable you know! The round of radio interviews, plays and live performances and other press releases begins too which is great! There is barely enough time to fit everything in. Andy has done a superb job with the CD artwork using some of the great photos that Gary Whiting took of me and Andy lounging about a ruined Abbey near Farnborough last summer. There will be 16 songs on the album, all original which adds up to about 69 minutes of play, a complete bargain for the price! The album will be available for pre-order soon if you would like to grab(well, reserve) a copy in advance!
So the other ending this week was the last gig of the year at the Golden Lion in Southwick. It was a lovely one to go out on. Some terrific people had come out to see us and one particularly marvellous group of chaps from Lincoln (I think, my memory may be making that up but it was sort of up that way I think) really loved the music and took advertising info away about us with a view to recommending us to some venues up there. Totally groovy! It's been great playing up there every month this year, it has really given us a chance to grow as a band and the recording process was made alot easier because of this opportunity. So many thanks to Greg and Jane for being such marvellous hosts and look forward to seeing you again sometime in the next Year for a gig or two. Lawks, there's no stopping her, she's always touting for business!
