• 25th June 2003 Added acuple of reviews to the Reviews  Page. One by Pete Harris, one about Pete Harris!
• 24th June 2003 Been a little lazy about updating the news page for the last year! So what's changed?

  The manually updated giglistings have been replaced with a mySQL database version, coded in asp. I have plans to replace this with a new improved version which will also list old gigs and events and will be written in perl (asp is yuk!)

  My own page (Andy Broad)  has been comletely overhauled, with lots of new text and a few new images. A little bit of cross referencing to do yet but it looks much better.

  Pete Harris has contributed a couple of reviews but I haven't had time to include them yet, sorry Pete they'll be up soon!

• 17th March 2002 Well a long time with no updates. Been a little busy, mainly building J.R.'s new Barking Spider Website.

  Added a review  by Clive Goodwin of Gwyn Ashton's excellent gig at The Bullfrog Blues Club  and included a link to J.R.'s preview on the Barking Spider Site.

  Removed some dead links from the links page and added links to Hit'n'Run Records, and Southsea Folk and Roots Festival

• 6th November 2001 Apologies for the delay in site updates, (not quite as bad as this news page makes it look), I have been working on Tony Farinha's new website for the last month. Will be adding a link to it on the links page as soon as it goes online.

  Added a review of the King Rollo gig at The Bullfrog Blues Club  to the gigs and reviews  section. Actualy this is a copy of a review I posted to alt.music.blues . Also added a menu bar to the reviews now that we've got more that a screens worth. Still need some reviews of other venues.....

  Also in the last month the pictures of Big Easy went up. They launched their CD at the The Bullfrog Blues Club  on October 11th. Full info on the can be found on the CD page 
  
  

• 16th September 2001 Added a review of Kent Duchaines gig at The Bullfrog Blues Club  to the gigs and reviews  section.
  
  
• 11th September 2001 We have our first review in the gigs and reviews  section. Dave Allen has kindly submitted a review of the excellent gig by Earl Gaines and Al Garner at the Bullfrog Blues Club.
  Added a picture (and link) of The Naughty Rhythms Tour Line up to the Bullfrog Blues Club  Pages.
  I have modified the home page to give details of all the sections on the site.
  Big Easy now have a proper logo! Details of their forth coming CD wil follow soon.
  
  
• 5th September 2001 Added some more to the links  page.
  
  
• 22nd August 2001 Added some info to the Big Easy pages at last! Due a techinical problem with a dud CD pictures of the band will have to wait a while yet, but you can now listen to a track from their new CD on the mp3  page. Also new, "The Once And Future Blues" site has been added to the links  page.
  
  
• 6th August 2001 The Bullfrog Blues Clubs late summer and autumn program of events is filling out nicely, with Sonny Black and King Rollo, being added to schedule. Check out the listings  and Bullfrog Blues Club  pages for more details.
  
  
• 31st July 2001 Blueprint Magazine have been kind enough to link to us, so weve added a link to them on the links  page. Tweaked the layout of the mp3  page and added two new samples, one each for Andy Broad and The Rhythm Kings.
  
  
• 22nd July 2001 Added information on the Hilights of the new season at The Bullfrog Blues Club 
  
  
• 21st July 2001 The Bullfrog Blues Club  is moving! From next week all gigs will take place on South Parade Pier. Check the listings  for forthcoming events. The first gig at the new venue will be on Thursday 26th July and will feature Burnt Ice.
  
  
• 16th July 2001 Added some more links to the links page. Added some photos of  Burnt Ice 
  
  
• 16th July 2001 Some bad news for the Portsmouth blues scene. Steve new landlord at the R.M.A. Tavern has decided not to take any more bookings for the Thursday night blues club. This means that it will be ending very soon. ( In fact we think that the The Rhythm Kings gig on the 19th July may actualy be the last gig.) All is not lost as we still have The Bullfrog Blues Club Watch this space for some forth coming news on gigs that have been booked for september.
