The West Side Blues Band have evolved through a few band names and lineups over the years, starting out as the Rhythm Kings, morphing into the Continentals when we got fed up of people asking "wheres Bill?" even though we had the name first :-). Then finaly evolving into the current lineup which concentrates on the sound of the blues from the west side of Chicago, hence the name. The core throughout has been the combination of Andy Broad on guitar / vocals and Tim Nowell on bass, now joined by Barry Leaney on Harmonica and Russ Taley Snr. or Andy Mills on Drums. Fellow musician from the Busted fender days, Kevin Brazier now often features on piano. |
